The effective way to meditate through silence


Sit on a chair with your feet planted on the ground and both hands on their relative laps, relax your shoulders and close your eyes. Make sure that you are in an “open-body” position. Your legs,feet and arms do not cross and your chest is open to receive. Feel the weight of your feet on the ground and of your hands on your lap. Inhale and exhale slowly, imagining your breath going all the way down to your stomach and then feel the weight of your feet on the ground even heavier. You can imagine there are roots coming out and down from your feet, which are growing deep down into the ground. If you are in a tall building on a high floor, I like to imagine these roots are running all the way down to ground zero. Then imagine the roots going into the ground, just like the roots of a huge old oak tree.

Simultaneously, imagine that your head can open to receive all the brightness and light energy from the skies and the Universe.

Accept all your thoughts and let them go, do not ponder on any too long and breathe normally.

This is the perfect time for a prayer or an affirmation where you ask for connection. “Please come and express yourself clearly through me”, is the one I use.

This is not egotistical or arrogant, in fact it is the opposite, it isĀ  where you give up your ego and need to be in control of everything.

The empowering belief here and it is my invitation to take it on, is that everything is perfect , even the situations that do not seem so. Everything is as it should be and can be. Once you believe this all the time, you will see that your implicit faith is what gives your dreams the opportunity to manifest.
